Duties
- You will direct personnel and administrative functions for all business and industry efforts, including work induction, contract support, funds administration, planning and estimating, work scheduling, and material management.
- You will oversee complex government industrial programs, managing budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring strict compliance with federal acquisition and fiscal regulations.
- You will analyze industrial processes, programmatic workflows, and business operations to drive efficiencies.
- You will lead the implementation of continuous process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.
- You will lead quantitative and qualitative analyses of schedule, cost, and quality performance.
- You will identify program improvement opportunities and advise senior management on recommendations.
- You will manage all personnel and administrative functions for the division, including planning and assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, developing employees, making hiring decisions, and promoting team building.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing business operations in a government industrial, manufacturing, or production environment. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying management principles to plan, schedule, resource, and execute projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Managing budgets, allocating resources, or applying financial stewardship principles in compliance with federal acquisition or fiscal regulations. Leading teams in the analysis of industrial processes or business workflows to identify and implement process improvements. Analyzing cost, schedule, or quality performance data to evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations to leadership. Mentoring other specialists, leading project teams, or providing technical oversight on business and industrial operations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
