Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Special Communications Mission Solutions Division of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD.

Duties

  • You will oversee logistics management functions associated with the planning, acquisition, sustainment, updating, and lifecycle support of C5ISR programs.
  • You will identify manpower, funding, material, equipment, facilities, services, and other resource requirements to coordinate the logistical resources necessary to support the mission.
  • You will evaluate resource availability, identify discrepancies, competing requirements, and develop recommendations to optimize the allocation and sustainment of resources.
  • You will oversee all activities of the Branch, along with maintaining the overall responsibility for the logistics management, operational, conduct, and administrative management of personnel.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring evolving management issues, changing operational requirements, and higher-level mandates to ensure Branch capabilities are integrated and responsive to broad customer needs.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band (NM-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Providing logistics/system engineering direction and technical leadership to engineers, technicians, and IT professionals; (2) Implementing and managing the execution of rapid integration projects involving Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Combat Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR); (3) Leading technical innovation and organizational change to adapt with industry growth in technology; (4) Coordinating with strategic leaders and tactical partners, in addition to industry, to develop immediate and future solutions for the warfighter; and (5) Providing technical engineering mentorship and project management direction to subordinates and other professionals.
