Summary
You will serve as a Lead Financial Management Analyst in the NAVAIRSYSCOM.
Duties
- You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
- You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
- You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
- You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
- You will communicate assignments/projects, milestones, deadlines and timeframes for completion.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1.) Mastering concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels. 2.) Developing, recommending and implementing budgetary/financial policies. 3.) Interpreting, assessing and projecting potential impact of new/revised Congressional legislation. 4.) Analyzing, reviewing, and interpreting financial execution data and resolving variances. 5.) Communicating clearly both orally and in writing for the purpose of providing information and guidance to management or customers at all levels.
