Duties
- You will serve as on a team providing technical and professional Integrated Program Management (Earned Value Management and Integrated Master Schedule) guidance and requirements interpretation on all aspects of weapons system acquisition programs.
- You will review and assess acquisition program contract, and contract portfolio, progress and develop Estimates at Completion and performance analysis based on planned technical, schedule, and cost parameters.
- You will ensure analysis and recommendations are based on relevant program information, liaising with government/contractor engineers, Integrated Product Team leads, business managers, planners, project/program managers, and external stakeholders.
- You will lead, for assigned programs and subprograms, the application of Integrated Program Management requirements, particularly with respect to IMS and EVM discipline, integration, rigor, quality, and usability.
- You will assemble and provide information and advice regarding assigned program areas to senior officials in the chain-of command.
- You will lead, for assigned programs/subprograms, the preparation for/execution of Integrated Baseline Reviews per SSP requirements coordinating with personnel from the technical branches and program offices, prime contractors, and external agencies.
- You will support SP17 leadership, when required, at high level command meeting/efforts and with external organizations.
- You will serve as a command alternate representative to DOW and Navy higher level authority, stakeholder councils, and working groups for IPM.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) requirements, practices, processes, and contractor performance data to support Integrated Baseline Reviews, assessing contract cost and schedule performance, providing relevant actionable recommendations for program management teams, delivering EVM and IMS training to acquisition teams, and contributing to revisions of authoritative policy or requirements for complex Department of Defense weapons or ship (or NASA equivalent) acquisition programs.
