SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range Test Facilities Base. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

Duties

• You will ensure management and handling of communications security (COMSEC) material complies with current operational procedures, directives, and guidelines.
• You will provide assistance in defining, planning, developing, and administering procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain an effective and efficient carcass tracking system.
• You will develop and provide analytical data in the form of reports, charts, and graphs.
• You will recommend action and compliance in support of program goals and objectives, organizational structure, and internal operating instructions and procedures for the Carcass Tracking Branch to the supervisor.
• You will provide data to supervisors, NAVSUP Weapons System Support (WSS), and internal or external customers as required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting logistical and supply support. Examples of specialized experience should include some or all the following: 1) Knowledge of supply policies and procedures related to material management; 2) Ability to review data using automated systems and reports; 3) Ability to ensure the management and handling of material complies with current producers, directives, and guidelines; 4) Ability to apply and interpret established manufacturing terminology, data, standards, policies, and instructions to ensure timely delivery of material to customers. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

There is no substitute of education for experience for this series at this grade level.
