Duties
- This position is located in the Property Management Branch, Supply and Services Division, United States Property and Fiscal Office (USP&FO). As Program Manager for the Property Management Branch, performs analysis of supply procedures, services, directives and management functions of the branch and plans, organizes, reviews, evaluates and performs limited supervisory responsibilities over subordinates in accomplishing the work of the branch (i.e., Supply Accountability Assistance Instruction Team (SAAIT) and Property Asset Managers). Work involves management, direction or administration of a supply program that includes a mixture of technical supply functions or staff managerial or administrative work primarily concerned with analyzing, developing, evaluating, or promoting improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program.
Qualifications
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION OPEN TO THE FOLLOWING AREA OF CONSIDERATION (AOC): Area of Consideration: This position is open to Area 1 ONLY. First Area: Current permanent employees of the South Carolina Army National Guard. Second Area: Current members of the South Carolina Army National Guard. Third Area: Any individual eligible for membership in the South Carolina Army National Guard GENERAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position with experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least one-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES: 1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. 2. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. 4. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. 5. The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment.
