Summary

About the Position: This Project Coordinator position with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, Engineering & Construction Division, Engineering Branch with a duty station of Fort Worth, TX.

Duties

  • Review contractor furnished cost data, such as cost/schedule status report, contract fund status reports, and cost performance reports.
  • Prepare and review a variety of procurement documentation, administrative reports, and similar document required to support program funding and procurement action.
  • Serve as the focal point for collection and analysis of evaluation data for a large, million dollar proposal evaluation.
  • Complete financial and contractual action in support of awarding and funding Soil Lab Testing Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) task orders.
  • Manage a revolving fund account, tracking project expenses and complete monthly bill distribution.
  • Assist in preparing a variety of management reports, acquisition documents, planning documents.
  • Briefing material requiring coordination with technical and administrative personnel within various directorate and with the Government contract officer.
  • Develop, manage, and execute budget.
  • Serve as Certifying Officer (CO) for branch level fleet management.

To qualify for the GS-09 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes at least two of the following: 1) gathering or consolidating project data; OR 2) reviewing project data entered into automated databases for accuracy and completeness; OR 3) developing and managing budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
