Summary
Serves as principal advisor to the Deputy Attorney General (DAG), Chief of Staff, and Senior Level officials on administrative management matters associated with programs and operations. Develops and advises on administrative requirements for the Office of the Deputy Attorney General (ODAG).
Duties
- The duties and responsibilities for a GS-0301-Office Manager-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervises employees, including support staff and Executive Messengers assigned to the ODAG and performing work at the GS-12 level or equivalent. Serves as principal advisor to a senior management office on all administrative management matters associated with programs and operations. Ensures the Office has an effective system of records management, in compliance with DOJ requirements, including mail and e-mail management, and docketing and reporting. Coordinates with the various administrative offices within the Justice Management Division on all matters concerning ODAG's budget, personnel, procurement and facilities management.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Office Manager, at GS-0301-13, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Advising on administrative management procedures (i.e., Human Resources, Budget, Security, and/or Procurement); 2) Evaluating administrative activities to ensure compliance with policies and/or procedures; and 3) Drafting administrative standard operating procedures and/or policies. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by 09/16/2026 of this announcement.
