Summary

You will serve as a CUSTOMER ADVOCATE (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER Port Hueneme. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Duties

  • You will provide program management direction for the acquisition, In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA). logistics, and other assigned life-cycle support tasks for the assigned program.
  • You will be responsible for interfacing with the Program Office, developing, negotiating and executing program budgets (single and multi-year), preparing and evaluating work assignments.
  • You will be responsible for implementing programmatic requirements, and resolving emergent issues in support of the Program.
  • You will serve as an authority on the Program effort.
  • You will interface with other Warfare Centers and Commands in the execution of assigned responsibilities, as well as Teams with other WARFARE Center Division to develop center-wide integrated proposals for submissions to the program sponsor.
  • You will represent the activity and the Command on committees and groups. Administrative direction addressed funding, resources and agency policy.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-05 pay band (GS-13 and GS-14 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the development and implementation of business planning and analysis strategies to support combat/weapon system program efficiencies and improvement processes.
