Custodial Worker (MVO)

Summary

You will serve as a Custodial Worker (MVO). The primary purpose of the work is custodial and janitorial work such as sweeping, scrubbing and waxing floors, washing windows and walls, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. This position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Natl Pk Svc, Intermount, Div of Facility Mgmt., West Glacier, Montana.

Duties

• Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: This position performs the full range of custodial work including cleaning and servicing vault toilets, buildings, campgrounds, and emptying trash receptacles. This position is required to operate a government vehicle to perform assigned work and may provide general labor assistance to others in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc. These are uniformed positions and must be able to respond to visitors politely.

As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probation period during which your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest will be evaluated.
