Duties

• Mows grass, lays sod, weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns. Prunes shrubs and trees; applies fertilizer, waters plants, cleans out drainage ditches, shovels snow from walks and driveways. Move heavy furniture.
• Loads and unloads conveyances; move materials using wheelbarrows, hand trucks or dollies; stacks and arranges supplies; collect refuse and recyclable materials. Performs routine maintenance on equipment. Maintains stockroom and cleaning supplies.
• Cleans rugs and drapes. Cleans, waxes and polishes floors using heavy industrial-powered equipment. Adjusts, cleans, oils and changes attachments on machines. Washes and replaces room fixtures using ladders and scaffolds.
• Power wash, clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, strip and polish assigned areas using light and heavy-duty powered equipment. Empties trash. Disinfect toilets. Wash walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fans using ladders, scaffolds, and safety belt.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Three (3) month of laboring experience required. Must have the ability use, control and clean tools and power equipment used, and ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervisor of each task assigned.
