Summary

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-13032089-26-JP. Duties

  • You will be the senior-level logistician, overseeing all Product Support activities for assigned systems and ensuring the technical quality of logistics products and processes for the development of current and future combat systems.
  • You will provide programmatic oversight of the sustainment requirements for assigned programs, including direct risk identification, and the development of mitigation strategies.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the health and sustainability of assigned combat systems, with a focus on integrating supportability into system designs for a cost-effective operation.
  • You will collaborate with Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs) to ensure the effective sustainment and delivery of logistics products.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating and monitoring logistics plan requirements, integrating supportability into system designs, and determine effective solutions for the total life-cycle support performance of combat ship defense system operational availability and readiness .
