Summary

Duties

  • You will manage, monitor, evaluate and coordinate the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) to ensure desired outcomes.
  • You will resolve complex product support problems by developing, initiating and overseeing the implementation of unique corrective actions, new programs, program enhancements and/or policy changes.
  • You will conduct cost benefit analyses, business case analysis, trade-off studies, and analysis of alternatives prior to changes in the product support strategy; and measure, evaluate and report on program accomplishments, effectiveness, compliance.
  • You will ensure product support strategy elements are incorporated into acquisition documentation, procurement specifications, contracts, and engineering documents to include but not limited to: Life Cycle Sustainment Plan.
  • You will support the Logistics Lead to plan, coordinate and evaluate the product support actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-II pay band (GS-11 equivalent grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: technical experience and acumen in Navy logistics management; experience developing Lifecycle Support Plans, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Integrated Logistics Assessments, Configuration Management Plans, and Systems Safety Plans; and the ability to communicate status, analyses, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders through written products and briefings.
