Summary

This position is located at Fort McCoy Pine View Campground is a large full-service campground that includes over 170 campsites and 17 cabins. A well-stocked camp store provides essentials, and a wide range of activities are available to guests. Announcement will have a first cutoff date of Sep 14, 2026, and applicants that submit a complete application packet prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration. Duties

  • As a Lead Recreation Assistant, works under the supervision of the Recreation Specialist (Program Manager). Serves as shift manager during absence of Recreation Specialist (Program Manager).
  • Leads staff and reviews work assignments. Trains and provides guidance to lower graded employees.
  • Serves as a recreation assistant within area of responsibility. Instructs customers on proper user of equipment and programs. Issues/receives equipment, collects fees, accounts for monies, safeguards funds and makes daily deposits.
  • Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
