Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

  • You will write and update direct directives pertaining to contingency operations activities.
  • You will serve as the point of contact for planning, programming and coordination of environmental maintenance and repair (EMR) projects.
  • You will provide oversight and support as lead/team member on the installation Authorized Use List (AUL) working group.
  • You will act as Environmental Compliance Coordinator ensuring environmental protection efforts, and training requirements for the Division are met.
  • You will evaluate test results and derive pertinent data for inclusion in overall project/program evaluation reports.

Qualifications

GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing environmental laws and regulations to assess and analyze environmental issues; assisting an organization in environmental compliance and prevention issues; and crafting guidance and policy for an organization's environmental needs. GS-09:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the development and implementation of environmental programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related GS-09: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
