Summary

You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the SENSORS, WEAPONS, & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT (E00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Duties

  • You will be responsible for the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program and will serve as a central point of contact for Manpower and Training.
  • You will work to ensure all fleet training requirements are aligned with system delivery and update schedules.
  • You will work with the Design Agent/Engineering Services Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to oversee manpower and training tasking at the CEC Design Agent.
  • You will perform project management duties to include technical review coordination, financial planning and development of Statements of Work, Task Planning Sheets, In-service engineering, integrated logistics support, and ship integration tasks.
  • You will help identify where corrective action is needed, identify special projects where applicable and provide assistance to managers and supervisors where problems exist or are developing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band (NT-04) or grade level (GS-11/12) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing management of administrative and operational functions in the execution of business operations for a training program (e.g., projecting, planning and executing budgets and resource requirements).
