Summary

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

Duties

  • What to Expect Supervises assigned personnel, establishes and approves work schedules, assigns work, trains and counsels employees, approves/disapproves leave, recommends commendatory/disciplinary actions and resolves employee problems. Performs administrative work directing the operations of an assigned school cafeteria which ensures compliance with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and other federal, state and local rules and regulations. Must be able to successfully complete and maintain a proper food safety/sanitation certification. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.

Qualifications

What are we looking for? Must be knowledgeable in the operation of a food activity. Must have experience in and knowledge of food preparation, presentation and food service operations. Basic skills in business administration, scheduling, accounting, policies and performance standards. Skill to clearly communicate general and specific instructions to workers. Skill to follow oral and written instructions. Skill to supervise employees in the accomplishment of work.
