The Supervisory Diversion Investigator (Senior Advisor) position is open in the following location: Arlington, Virginia - Diversion Control Operations Duties include: leading, directing, authorizing, and evaluating the performance of initiatives to interpret, draft, and advance operations through departmental and federal policy development. Developing goals and objectives that integrate organizational and strategic objectives. Establishes, revises, or reviews policies, procedures, mission objectives. Advising senior leadership to formulate strategies in advancing policy or procedural goals and objectives to improve operational efficiency. Evaluating Diversion Control Operation's responsiveness to high-profile controlled substance issues garnering both media and political attention. Evaluating current operations and projecting technical, financial, and personnel needs and aligning them with key organizational goals.
Qualifications
GS-15: Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level or pay band in the Federal service that includes performing the following duties: 1) Developing formal reports, studies and guidance on ways to improve administrative investigative processes and procedures; 2) Conducting outreach and engagement with organizational leaders and personnel; 3) Developing proposals to restructure personnel procedures and organizational processes; 4) Providing advice and guidance to executive leadership and staff on operational priorities and policy changes; and 5) Developing responses and guidance to address sensitive public media and publications Competencies: Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competencies in the following areas: Administrative Law Compliance Inspection Leadership Technical Competence
