ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division (WXS), Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Department (WX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The NT-05 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13/14.The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).

Duties

• You will serve as the Fleet Support Team (FST) Integrated Product Support (IPS) Lead for the ALQ-249 Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJMB) or the EA-18G systems/subsystems within the AEA Systems Division (AESD) Product Support Branch.
• You will lead a blended team of Government and Contractor Support Services (CSS) product support and logistics personnel.
• You will serve as the Life Cycle Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing all aspects of product support across all 12 IPS elements for the FST as delegated by the program office and the FST Task Manager.
• You will lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of complex issues associated with the acquisition, fielding, operations, and sustainment of Naval Aviation weapons systems.
• You will review, analyze, and evaluate all deliverables, briefs, plans, and engineering source data for strict adherence to program requirements.
• You will brief internal and external stakeholders on the status of the program's product support including identification of risks and recommended courses of action.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading, planning, or managing Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements for weapons systems or support equipment during their acquisition, fielding, or long-term sustainment phases to ensure alignment with life-cycle supportability requirements for an organization.
