Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Adventure Center, Beale AFB, CA. This role is for Regular Part-Time employment, offering benefits and ensuring a minimum of 20 hours of work weekly, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours per week

Duties

  • Locates, research, and evaluates new tickets, trip options and tour destinations. Independently plans, coordinates, develops, and executes ITT trips and tours; including but not limited to routing, scheduling and transportation. Schedule contracted personnel for upcoming trips and tours. Maintains monthly calendar, historical data and information regarding events and locations. Maintains vendor and companion services relationships. Process customer ticket and tour requests, make reservations, and process payments. Assist in developing brochures and publicity submissions for marketing. Ensure marquee and marketing material is continuously updated with current and viable upcoming programs. Provide financial summary reports, inventory, purchase requests and budget information. Follows established rules and procedures for cash accountability, inventory, reservations and customer transactions. Process orders for replacement or new items; ensure received items are accurate and acceptable. Ensure other ITT employees are adequately trained. Issue or receive rental and loan equipment for OCA customers. May be required to work uncommon tour of duty to include nights and weekends. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in recreational or leisure programs, travel planning, event coordination or hospitality services. Administrative skills including record keeping, financial reports, accounting knowledge, inventory and correspondence, are preferred. Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs. Must have customer service experience and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Must have the ability to safeguard and handle cash and a POS system within cash accountability procedures.

Education
