Summary

You will serve as a Program Manager in the Systems Acquisition Group, Program Manager Department, Joint Strike Fighter Program (JSF/PO) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

  • You will provide management and oversight of services acquisitions through all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring and controlling, and close-out.
  • You will ensure services contract cost, schedule, and performance measures are standardized, monitored, tracked, and administered according to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) guidelines.
  • You will provide performance project management and control including monitoring and tracking contract baselines (cost and schedule); tracking accomplishments (milestones and deliverables); reporting on contract performance, and invoice processing.
  • You will analyze needs and synthesize requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and plans.
  • You will participate with key personnel in the program office who are responsible for defining the goals of the program, as well as working with them in preparing comprehensive program plans for accomplishing goals and schedules.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band (DA-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage service contracts/acquisition; (2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; (3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources specific to contractor support service contracts; (4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and (5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a Command.
