Summary

This position is located at Sierra Army Depot, CA. This announcement includes two benefited employment categories. Available positions may be filled as Regular Full-Time (RFT) (40 hours per week) or Regular Part-Time (RPT) (20 hours per week), with eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Referral list will be sent to Hiring Manager on September 22nd, 2026. Then due to close on September 29th, 2026.

Duties

  • Assists Facility Manager in the overall management and operation of a fitness facility.
  • Duties include adjusting due to changes in program demands or hours of operation and assisting in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions
  • Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts. Conducts classes and walks all facility rooms to provide guidance or referral as appropriate.
  • Assists with publicity of programs and events assists with marketing of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
  • Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Assists with the inventory of property. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to operate multiple fitness facilities. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. Highly Desirable: Possession of a Nationally Recognized Basic Fitness Trainer Certification.
