Summary

Duties

  • You will assist leadership in all matters pertaining to compliance with establishment and sustainment of IT user accounts to pay and personnel systems.
  • You will support management of application user accounts assuring Access Control program complies with Enterprise IT Control Standards.
  • You will provide guidance in diagnosing and resolving computer problems in response to customer complaints and or issues and maintains problem tracking and resolution databases.
  • You will identify IT system requirements through data gathering and analytical techniques to develop new or improve on existing business processes to maintain, control and support IT control standards.
  • You will assist in the development and maintenance of policy and procedures that set standards for IT controls and retention requirements of evidence to substantiate effectiveness of IT control standards.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices sufficient to assist in planning and carrying out a wide variety of IT projects and assignments; 2) Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software components, as well ass assisting with the establishment and management of user accounts; 3) Training command personnel in IT systems hardware, software, applications, account requests, etc.; 4) Resolving end-user problems, correcting problematic trends and patterns, and meeting command-specific operational requirements within the terms of the overarching contract; and 5) Applying methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving IT support to assist in solving moderately complex problems and provide support in a manner that minimizes interruptions. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: A master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
