Summary
About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Supply Directorate Sourcing Division, OIB Sourcing branch. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in Warren, MI.
Duties
- Plans, develops, implements, and oversee OIB repair programs through the life cycle, including program scope, funding, schedules, strategies, and execution.
- Monitors performance and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, readiness, of secondary item repair output.
- Repair Requirements analysis - Analyzes program forecasts, due-ins, inventory, repair requirements, Bill of Materials (BOM), scrap rate, and other supply chain data to identify gaps and ensure repair programs can be executed successfully.
- Organic Industrial Base Sourcing and Optimization – Identifies, analyzes, and validates opportunities to source or expand workload within the OIB. Assesses OIB capabilities and capacity, develops business cases and performance measures.
- Repair Program Integration Coordination – Integrates activities across depots, supply planning, program/product managers, contracting, DLA, and weapon system teams.
- Ensure funding, material availability, schedules and corrective actions to prevent or resolve repair program delays.
- Policy and Metrics – Develops and implements repair sourcing strategies. Ensures repair metrics and execution are consistent with appropriate policy and regulations.

Coordinating repair program activities to support supply and maintenance requirements. Evaluating repair program performance to identify and resolve, cost schedule, material, or readiness issues. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
