OFFICE AUTOMATION ASSISTANT

Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

• You will format, organize, and input a variety of production and performance data on a continuing basis for on-going operations.
• You will prepare charts showing a wide variety of data for briefings.
• You will assist Housing Management Assistants with check in-check out procedures and inputting results of inspections of quarters using the Enterprise Military Housing (EMH) system.
• You will support Housing Management Assistants with verification and validation of applicants for eligibility and housing referrals.
• You will prepare correspondence utilizing various formats such as the Navy Correspondence Manual.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving phone calls, greeting visitors, and responding to requests for information; 2) Assisting with housing check in-check out procedures and 3) Using two or more types of software, e.g., word processing and timekeeping management, to create different types of documents, tables, and reports. This position requires the ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
