About the Position: About the Position: Serves as Program Manager for the Kansas City District Programs and Project Services Branch within the Programs and Project Management Division (PPPMD).

Duties

• Ensures consistency and continuity of program management within the district.
• Manages and directs the branch’s activities by supervising subordinate teams of program and project managers (PgMs and PMs).
• Supports the District through analysis of data and patterns (both past and current) and providing profiles for projecting program expectations into the future.
• Represents the District at engagements, such as meetings, briefings, conferences, and hearings, with higher headquarters, officials of other Federal agencies, state, county, and local authorities, and the public.
• Coordinates, plans, and executes the work of the branch through subordinate supervisors.

Specialized Experience GS-14: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which includes: 1) Experience in program and project management involving studies, designs and/or construction; 2) Experience utilizing Project Management Information Systems (PROMIS) to manage schedules and resourcing; AND 3) Experience implementing Quality Management Systems including development and execution of Quality Management Plans and Quality procedures.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
