Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Auto Hobby Shop, Ramstein AB, Germany. Responsible for providing administrative support to facilities in the Ramstein Community Flight. This position does not offer logistical support.

Duties

  • Duties include maintaining file plans, various records and suspense files, regulations, directives, inventory control files and posting changes as required. Assists in compiling correspondences, reports, forms, and other related material. Prepares various reports and other statistical and financial data pertaining to the activity. Provides information regarding operations to the manager. Answers telephone, receives visitors, provides requested information, pick up and distribute office mail and correspondence. Performs cash management and accountability duties to include payments to vendors. Completes appropriate NAF reports summarizing daily and monthly business transactions, and deposits daily cash receipts. Performs timekeeper duties and maintains time and attendance records. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience performing administrative work such as maintaining files/records; receiving and submitting paperwork; reviewing and verifying data for accuracy using various sources. General knowledge in Microsoft Office business software programs is desirable. Experience must demonstrate accuracy and strong arithmetic skills, along with experience responsibly handling cash and cash items (receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, and safekeeping).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
