Summary

Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Duties
- Executes fiduciary responsibility for the daily operations of the facility and/or one or more smaller veterinary facilities, in accordance with regulations and Public Health Command policies.
- Serves as Government Purchase Card Billing Official and oversees inventory management and ordering. Implements and makes recommendations regarding administrative policies, procedures.
- Resolves patient complaints and problems. Implements and maintains direct and continuous quality improvement and management control programs established by the Veterinary Service Central Fund.
- Provides management and oversight of day-to-day delivery of veterinary services within the clinic.
- Provides technical and administrative supervision over 3-20 administrative (nonprovider) employees at one or more veterinary locations.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in administrative and/or clinical management. Experience must have provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability to successfully perform the duties of the position, including inventory management, program development, implementation, selection, training and supervision of personnel. Ability to plan and organize work, analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and recognize solutions. Ability to communicate effectively in order to present recommendations and coordinate services. Highly Preferred Criteria: Candidate will possess a four-year college/university degree with a major course of study/substantial course work in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration and demonstrated work experience as described above. At least one (1) year of working experience as a supervisor with experience including but not limited to managing employee performance (and handling disciplinary matters when necessary), determining schedules, workload distribution, strategic communication, etc. Knowledge of the Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentality (NAFI) processes (i.e. NAF Government Purchase Cards (GPC), Resale Inventory Management, Daily Activity Reporting and Budgeting, etc.) ADDITIONAL DUTIES/CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT ARE OUTLINED IN PD #14420.The information provided on your resume should be clear and specific. Education
