Summary

Duties

  • You will plan and lay out work from electrical and electronic block diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical orders.
  • You will perform functional tests to determine if any operating defects are present by exploration of probable reasons and to locate equipment, component, and/or subassembly malfunctions.
  • You will install, overhaul, repair, fabricate, and or modify various types of electronically controlled industrial equipment characterized by moderate complexity of design, construction, and function.
  • You will perform preventive maintenance on electronic control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
  • You will review work order requirements reflecting systems to be overhauled, repairer, fabricated, or modified.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various types of electronically controlled equipment, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
