Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Luke Youth Center. Must meet specific physical requirements, pass a physical examination and have required immunizations. This is a drug testing position, and is subject to random drug testing. This is a Flexible position with no guaranteed hours or benefits.
Duties
- Uses work processing software to produce a variety of documents. Transmit and receive documents and messages electronically using personal computer or workstation that is networked or linked to other computers or workstations throughout the work area or organization. Types correspondence, reports, forms, messages, memoranda, statistical or tabular material, where spacing arrangements are complicated, directly in final form without a rough draft. Arranges the material in the form necessitated by the nature of the subject matter, the purpose for which it is to be used, the format required by regulations, style manuals or policy. Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, and maintaining files. On a continuing basis, instructs new and current providers and monitors all USDA-CDC/SAC programs and participating FCC providers. Assists in determining the quality and quantity of meals of children, provides specific guidance to providers to ensure proper performance of specified duties, inspects and evaluates all pertinent records which relate to Child Care Food Program (CCFP) and provides other assistance as needed. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have experience in responsible clerical or office work in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Have the ability & knowledge to develop a rapport with prospective program participants & maintain a cordial relationship with providers while giving semi-technical information/instructions. Ability to maintain proper objective relationship with program participants who are subject to ongoing inspections for maintenance of quality performance, facilities & record keeping. Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily. Food & nutritional knowledge is desirable.
Education
