Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the Logistics Department of FLEET AIR WESTPAC, located on Naval Air Facility Atsugi Japan.. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***

Duties

  • You will oversee the roles, functions, and responsibilities of assigned personnel.
  • You will assign projects and work assignments involving new or changing requirements, functions, and/or goals.
  • You will establish organization structure for newly appointed organization/sub-organization.
  • You will collect and review required cardholder documentation prior to card issuance. Review, approve and process request for use of Centrally Billed Account for non-IBA holders.
  • You will perform travel related services for military members, dependents and civilian employees per pertinent laws and regulations.
  • You will ensure management analyst and program analyst coordinates all civilian personal programs relating to recruitment, employment training, wage and classification, and employee relations services, with the servicing Human Resource Office.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Experience using the Defense Travel System, including travel authorizations, voucher processing, and compliance with the Joint Travel Regulations. 2. Experience supervising personnel, to include assigning work, developing employees, and reviews internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and financial management requirements. 3. Experience applying knowledge of joint travel regulations (JTR), customer service, and process improvement, with the ability to analyze travel request, interpret regulations, coordinate requirements with customer, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree orLL.M., if related.
