Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Club Five Six. Must have knowledge or experience in office automation software applications to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. This is a Flexible position with no guaranteed hours or benefits.
Duties
- Greets and Directs Visitors in person and over the telephone. Provides Information to Guests, has a general knowledge of Catering Standards, Procedures and Limitations and is knowledgeable as to where to find answers to Guests questions. Takes Messages, communicates messages to other personnel. Composes correspondence from brief verbal or written instruction from a supervisor, and responsible for the correct spelling, paragraphing, grammar and format of all correspondence. Responsible for Revenue Reconciliation, accounting for all monies, balanced daily, weekly, monthly and annually. Collects Cash Receipts, Credit Card Receipts, Register Tapes and Revenue Summary Reports. Prepares and issues Change Funds for Cashiers and Bartenders as required. Notifies Management of discrepancies or irregularities. Able to operate Food and Beverage Point of Sales tenninals with complete understanding and accuracy. Responsible for transporting Revenue Receipts and Cash to our Accounting Department daily. Responsible for recording and balancing Revenue Reports for Catering and Food & Beverage operations overall. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience performing clerical work and providing customer service to internal and external customers. Preferred experience or training in Clerical or Office work demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of this position in a satisfactory manner. Must have the ability to deal effectively with the public. Experience involving public contact or service is desirable. Must have knowledge or experience in office automation software applications to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
