Summary
This position is located at the Fitness Centers of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, NAS Sigonella. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in the operation and maintenance of the Fitness program.
Duties
- Provides assistance in the operation and maintenance of the Fitness program. Issues equipment and provides information and instructions to patrons on proper utilization of fitness equipment. Conducts equipment inventories and patron counts. Ensures all patrons adhere to fitness center rules and policies. Performs routine inspections and is responsible for minor maintenance of the facility. Ensures that fitness center is maintained in a clean and orderly condition and is prepared for scheduled events. Collects money from patrons and keeps a change fund. May be required to assist with special events or cover shifts at either fitness center. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements: Three (3) months of general experience OR high school graduation (or GED/equivalent). General Experience: any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position.
