Summary
This position is located at the Sip of Glory Coffeehouse in The Peak. Join our team at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of Soldiers and their Families by providing essential support services, including child and youth programs and a variety of recreational activities that directly contribute to Soldier readiness and well-being. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Duties
- Operates a small full-service coffee shop, preparing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks. Prepares and serves simple food items.
- Operates coffee shop machinery to include commercial espresso machine and stocks coffee bar.
- Records sales, takes customer payments for goods by operating a cash register, balances cash drawer at the end of the day.
- Maintain clean and sanitary work area, utensils, equipment and coffee bar.
- Conducts monthly inventory.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and inventory, AND skill in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine, AND ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff.
