Summary

Duties

  • Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Facilitate water testing, troubleshoot and functionally test water system equipment to isolate defective components and perform repairs, adjusting and replacing parts as required. Install, repair and calibrate analyzers for turbidity, chlorine and pH as well as the trend recorders associated with these analyzers. Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures ensuring safety and compliance with applicable regulations. Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in various setting, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT) Knowledge of equipment, assembly, installation, repair, etc. Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Knowledge of materials Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading) Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Use of measuring instruments If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. Requirements

Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license throughout employment. Must have a current Arkansas Type II water Treatment License.
