PRECISION STRIKE PLANNING ANALYST

Summary

Duties

• You will serve as a Weaponeering Subject Matter Expert.
• You will serve as subject matter expert on United States Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Targeting, Weaponeering, Collateral Damage Estimation, International Convention of Laws of Armed Conflict Policies.
• You will perform qualitative analysis of cruise missile employment issues providing input and recommendations to Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Services, Agencies (CC/S/As), and other elements of the national intelligence community.
• You will lead the production of electronic targeting folders ensuring accuracy and completeness and policy compliance of all materials necessary to support cruise and hypersonic missile strike planning.
• You will develop methods to measure quality control of tasked targets assigned to other division personnel and techniques to validate production data.
• You will provide research, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex weaponizing data and interrelated information to develop optimized execution tactics to maximize weapon effectiveness.
• You will provide and perform work that focuses on planning, analyzing, or administering the agency aviation programs, which requires the application of pilot knowledge and skills.
• You will provide advisement on or perform work that involves planning and scheduling of UAV/ Cruise Missile flight used in air combat operations.

Qualifications

FOR THE GS-13: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience applying expert knowledge of a wide range of terminologies, methodologies, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques related to target analysis, weaponeering, target materials, navigation product creation, force application, execution planning, damage assessment, measurement of program effectiveness, and target database management functions contained in the targeting cycle and as they relate to Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missiles (TLAMs) and Long -Range Hypersonic Weapons (LRHW) & Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) CPS Hypersonic missiles. * Experience applying expert knowledge of Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) target database management functions contained in the targeting cycle and an understanding of the principles of analytical and statistical properties of computer database management. * Expert knowledge of Joint Targeting processes, requirements, and the relevant DoD, Navy and Joint targeting and strike operations and knowledge of TLAM and CPS/LRHW operational planning and execution communities. In addition, expert knowledge of the weapon systems program offices, and planning systems development and acquisition processes. Education

FOR THE GS-11, the specialized experience may be substituted with the following: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR Successful completion 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR Possession of LL.M., if related OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience There is no education substitution for the GS-12 and GS-13.
