Summary

You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEM INTEGRATION N50 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12.

Duties

  • You will provide expert-level technical services related to the Integration, Test and Evaluation, and Life-Cycle Engineering and Logistics support of Surface Combatant ships, combat systems, weapon systems and related equipment.
  • You will ensure that Combat systems and their elements are successfully intergrated during construction, availability and modernization events.
  • You will perform technical reviews on availability planning materials, execution processes and supporting technical documentation.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-03 (GS-9/10) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Identifying and analyzing root cause analysis that impact problems with the design, test and maintenance of electronic systems and determine acceptability of equipment modifications for the modernization of combat ship maintenance.
