Summary

As a Senior FAS Front Office Ops Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide variety of highly complex functions, activities, and special assignments relating to the effectiveness of the FAS front office. Location of position: This position will be located in Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Office of the FAS Commissioner, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Office of the Chief of Staff.

Position can be filled in any of the following locations: Washington, DC; Kansas City, MO; Fort Worth, TX; Lakewood, CO; Tacoma, WA; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Boston, MA; San Francisco, CA; Philadelphia, PA; Chicago, IL As a Senior FAS Front Office Ops Analyst, you will be responsible for the following duties: Plans, manages and oversees the coordination of administrative processes. Executes highly complex processes in support of broad, complex administrative programs administered and/or facilitated by the Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) Commissioner's Office. Develops long-range plans and recommendations for improved or enhanced methods, practices, and processes to ensure effectiveness and to make sure that administrative goals and objectives are met. Develops solutions to internal management or program operational problems and advises on highly complex administrative and related findings and recommendations to ensure programs remain in conformance with ongoing initiatives, guidelines, goals, and/or objectives. Serves as a recognized technical authority in the development and interpretation of General Service Administration (GSA ) and Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) and related federal guidelines (e.g., policies, legislation, and regulations). Researches highly sensitive, complex, or controversial issues in assigned areas of agency operations. Combines complex data and/or information across a variety of sources, extracting significant and/or actionable data.

Qualifications

The GS-14 salary range starts at $127,829.00 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience in the following: Implementing administrative programs, processes, procedures, guidelines, etc. to improve office efficiency. Facilitating strategy reviews across program areas to identify trends and assess the impact of organizational changes. Analyzing data to develop strategic planning initiatives that align with long term goals. Evaluating program effectiveness, conduct gap analyses, and develop long-range plans using qualitative and quantitative methods (such as Administrative data Analysis, Trend analysis, reports, etc).

If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C or Non­Career SES employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the HR Office. Failure to disclose this information could result in disciplinary action including removal from Federal Service. Serve a one year probationary period, if required. Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 2 investigation level).
