THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Position Description Number D3021000 and is part of the KS 184 Wing, National Guard.
Duties
- As a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR, GS-0303-07, you will assist Personnel Management Activities. Support the administration of military personnel management programs including requesting personnel actions such as promotions, evaluations, awards, and leave. Provide customer service and guidance on organizational personnel policies and procedures. Monitor personnel records and supports preparation of routine personnel actions with guidance from higher graded HR Specialist. Assist with maintaining personnel files and electronic records in accordance with Air Force, Air National Guard, and local directives. Participate in tracking training requirements for assigned organization and helps coordinate developmental opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements. Telework: ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK
Qualifications
Military Grades: E-1 through E-6 Compatible Military Assignments: Any GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower level, in managing daily administrative and unit level support, executing programs and supporting personnel to maintain mission readiness.
