Summary
This position is located at Pililaau Army Recreation Center (PARC), Waianae, Hawaii (Island of Oahu). Incentives and Bonuses. Incentives will not be paid. Duties
- Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability and assists clientele in the completion of required forms and registration cards.
- Answers questions pertaining to rules and regulations governing the assignment and use of quarters; issues room keys.
- Updates registration information on registration cards. Orients guests concerning use of facilities and equipment, and other facilities available on post.
- Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys; renders receipts. At end of shift, reconciles and secures cash .
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following for: Minimum Qualification Criteria: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and use a computer for work processing or data entry. Good verbal communication skills and customer service skills. One year hotel front desk experience is preferred. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualification criteria above. High Qualification Criteria: A minimum of six months of customer service experience in hospitality, retail, or a related industry. Proven experience in handling cash and credit card transactions, as well as operating point-of-sale and reservation system. Proficiency in using computers for administrative tasks, to include email correspondence and data entry.
