Summary

Duties

  • You will support application of security policies to organization sites, systems and networks.
  • You monitor trends reading the security posture of systems.
  • You will implement system security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
  • You will perform security reviews and identify security gaps in security architecture resulting in recommendations for the inclusion into the risk mitigation strategy.
  • You will work with others to track and resolve computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Experience managing cybersecurity programs to ensure enterprise-wide compliance and implementation of cybersecurity requirements. Experience developing and testing system fail-over or system operations transfers to an alternate site based on systems availability requirements. Experience providing direct support to Program Management, Service Execution, and Mission Support as needed to highlight how decisions may impact the security posture of cyber and communication infrastructures. Experience providing input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation. -AND- Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. Experience: For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
