Bar Assistant

Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to The Delta Breeze Event Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA. Physical Effort: Ability to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds. Eligible to use base facilities such as: Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center.

Duties

• Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars. Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs.
