Summary
Reclamation is seeking career professionals looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as an Electrician. These positions are located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region, Estes-Mary's Lake Section in Estes Park, Colorado.
Duties
- Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots solid-state equipment, electrical equipment and devices in electric generating stations, and other ancillary facilities while observing safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment. Operates high-voltage switches and related devices in connection with work while following the guidelines of the Hazardous Energy Control Program and in coordination with the control center and/or dispatcher. Utilizes instruction manuals, standard operating procedures, Hazardous Energy Control Program, job hazard analysis, safe clearance procedures, safety trainings, and lockout/tagout when performing assigned work. Perform electrical maintenance and repair of bridge and gantry cranes, and elevators as qualified, utilizing a variety of logic sequences and solid-state circuitry. Requesting and holding clearances for the work group and utilization of lockout/tagout.

Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National. Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. In the absence of agency action to affirmatively certify continued employment beyond the probationary or trial period, such appointments are terminated.
