Summary

You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the SURVEILLANCE RADAR DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Duties

  • You will serve as a Technical Project Manager supporting the E30 Radar Division in the Sensors, Weapons, and Launchers Department.
  • You will develop improvements or design new work processes and procedures to improve productivity and value added of products; analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.
  • You will understand and formulate duties, resources and products in support of Surveillance Radars.
  • You will provide technical directions for E30 radar programs with functions that provide comprehensive engineering, technical, administrative, financial, and logistics support for Surveillance Radars and Interfaces to combat systems and platforms.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Directing and overseeing resource allocations to determine budget execution, procurement and contracting, and monitor the in-service operational requirements for a Radars Systems Program.
