Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Def Ind Base Facilities & Major Range/Test Facilities Base in DOD. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer.

Duties

  • You will issue temporary (escort/no escort) badges to civilian visitors, contractors, vendors, and foreign nationals.
  • You will access databases for proper authorization of visit requests, identify the individual to properly badge, and maintain required logs.
  • You will perform security patrols in accordance with security shift standing order requirements either by foot, or vehicle during assigned shifts.
  • You will monitor situations for public safety and health and report violations to proper authorities.
  • You will be responsible for the security, upkeep and operator maintenance of assigned government vehicles, issued uniform items, assigned post material and/or equipment.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. 2) Must be proficient with utilizing computer systems. 3) Must be able to multitask.
